Riyadh, December 5, 2025 - XP Music Futures, organized by MDLBEAST Foundation, continued its fifth edition on Friday with a high-impact second day focused on industry development, creative exchange, and breakthrough regional talent. As one of the MENA region’s most influential music conferences, XP once again brought together artists, executives, producers, innovators, and cultural leaders to shape the future of the regional music ecosystem.

Day 2 delivered a dynamic lineup of workshops, keynotes, and discussions across XP’s core pillars: Talent, Scene, Impact, and Innovation. Sessions explored artist careers, mental well-being, studio practice, music rights, the evolving role of media, and emerging technologies.
Notable sessions included “Accelerating Talent: Anghami, Moja, and the Music Commission”, featuring Diya Azzony, Support & Coaching Manager; Hany AlBanjary (Elfuego), Scouting & Scholarship Manager; Ibrahim Hashem, Sr. Regional Commercial Director, Anghami; Kamil Abi Khalil, Head of Production and Music Business Development; artist Loulwa and Ramy; and Anghami’s Head of Commercial. The roundtable explored how public institutions and private platforms can collaborate to fast-track artist development.
Another key session was “Rethinking Music Journalism: Voices, Challenges, and the Road Ahead,” featuring journalist and writer Danny Hajjar, Digital Editor Amina Kaabi, Editor Omar Ghoneim, and Music Editor Abdulhameed Nabeel. The discussion explored the unique challenges music journalists face in the MENA region, from navigating fragmented music communities and markets to balancing credibility and visibility in a shifting media landscape; and many more.
The program also featured the workshop “Noise Diva: The Re-Composition Remix,” led by Noise Diva, an intensive, hands-on session where producers learned to deconstruct tracks, rebuild musical architecture, and craft original remixes using her signature creative methods and sound-design techniques.
Additionally, the session “Wegz and the Evolution of Arab Hip-Hop” brought together artist Wegz, Assem Tag (Founder & CEO of Raad Records), Rami Mohsen (Managing Director, Sony Music Middle East), and Mayssa Karaa (Artist and Artistic Director), along with Issa Outa, A&R Director at Sony Music MENA and Head of AWAL MENA.
As evening arrived, XP transitioned into its NITE program, where regional and international acts took over multiple stages across JAX District. The lineup spotlighted rising Arab artists including “Aziz Maraka Pop-Up” and “Circus Recordings x Mahool” artists including Yousef, Moontalk and more, while the day concluded with high-energy performances by MDLBEAST Records artists including Autostrad, Yazeed Fahad, and Zeid Hamdan & Maii Waleed. Day 2 reinforced XP’s commitment to championing new voices and expanding visibility for emerging talent across MENA’s fast-growing music scene.
The momentum of XP’s fifth edition continues to underline its role as a catalyst for music industry growth in Saudi Arabia and the wider region. Through its blend of knowledge-building, talent development, and live showcases, XP Music Futures remains a key platform driving innovation, career acceleration, and cultural exchange.
World-class programming continues on Saturday as XP Music Futures concludes its 2025 edition with another full day of industry sessions and nighttime performances from some of the region’s most exciting creatives.
